Hey guys,
For those who of you who have not read the news, Safari 4 Beta is out. It seems to be the fastest browser available now and it has a bunch of cool features like the following:
- Top Sites Feature: it shows you a list of your top sites (based on browsing history). Note that you can also customize the list and re-order the pictures there. What I like about this is it’s like a video-wall where you see snapshots of the webpages you’re viewing.
- Cover Flow view for history. Now this is really just cool. It might take some time to render the previews, so just be patient.
The only thing that felt new to me was the tabs. Right now, the tabs are seen on top of the address bar. This is part of their new feature.
It’s a bit confusing to me because I find it harder to drag/move the whole window now. Plus, I always try to look for the tab below the address bar. Maybe I’m just old school. I kinda like it that way.
